DNA Size Selection System 1 ChIP - Seq Library Prep Application Note 02
نویسنده
چکیده
One of the technically challenging and labor-intensive steps is the size selection of DNA fragments during the NGS library construction and is a source of sample loss and sample cross contamination. This tech note is a comparison of two alternative methods for the size-selection step: Pippin PrepTM automated DNA sizing and E-gel® SizeSelectTM gels, for the purpose of determining the suitability of the Pippin Prep system for NGS library construction using limited amounts of ChIP DNA starting material.

Low input DNA size selection on the Pippin Prep System using the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer with the Agilent High Sensitivity DNA kit
With the advent of next-generation sequencing (NGS), library preparation has become a much more streamlined process utilizing smaller amounts of input genomic DNA, thus allowing for more narrow fragmentation profi les. This Application Note demonstrates the usefulness of the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer and the Agilent High Sensitivity DNA kit in complementing the Pippin Prep automated size selecti...
متن کاملTELP, a sensitive and versatile library construction method for next-generation sequencing
Next-generation sequencing has been widely used for the genome-wide profiling of histone modifications, transcription factor binding and gene expression through chromatin immunoprecipitated DNA sequencing (ChIP-seq) and cDNA sequencing (RNA-seq). Here, we describe a versatile library construction method that can be applied to both ChIP-seq and RNA-seq on the widely used Illumina platforms. Stan...

Illumina ChIP-Seq technology precisely and cost-effectively maps global binding sites for a protein of interest
INTRODUCTION Transcription factors and other chromatin-associated proteins are essential phenotype-influencing mechanisms. Determining how proteins interact with DNA to regulate gene expression is essential for fully understanding many biological processes and disease states. This epigenetic information is complimentary to genotype and expression analysis. Traditional methods have successfully ...
